Booking Terms and Conditions 2023-2024

Please read carefully the terms and conditions of contract. In completing and submitting of Booking Form, you agree to be bound by booking condition outline below: This booking contract constitute agreement between Green Lotus Trekking Pvt. Ltd and you. We’ve tried to keep the fine print to a minimum, so please bear with us

1. HOW TO BOOK
To confirm your booking you need to send US $200 per person non-refundable deposit payment. You can make the deposit payment online with major credit cards via PayPal. Please click here to make online payment. Note. payment is process through our sister company Paypal account “Asia Global Solutions”.
On receipt of the booking the payment, we will confirm your booking and our reservation staff will email you any necessary pre-departure information pertaining to your tour.

2. PAYMENT
The balance of your tour price is payable in Kathmandu, Nepal or you can wire transfer (bank detail will be provided upon request) or pay online three weeks before departure. Price is quoted in US dollars (unless otherwise specified). Please note there is 3% surcharge applicable if paying the balance by credit cards.

3. NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE
The following items are not included in tour price:
– International airfare;
– Personal travel insurance;
– visa, passport and vaccination charges;
– Laundry, postage, personal clothing, medical expenses, items of personal nature
– Kathmandu or Pokhara lunch and dinner expenses
– Emergency helicopter evacuation or search charges;
– Meals, accomodaiton and drinks whilst trekking;
– Gratitude or tips to staff and excess baggage charges;
– Private transport (eg car/jeep hire), or other expenses not included on the itinerary;

4. YOUR TRIP AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize and accept the potential risks and hazards that can be over and above those associated with normal package’ holidays. All clients are expected to consider themselves mentally and physically capable of participating in the itinerary as described, prior to booking and departure. Green Lotus, along with its guides and anyone else working in association with Green Lotus, cannot be held responsible for any accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the tour. In the absence of more qualified medical assistance, guides will provide first aid support when needed to the best of their knowledge and ability. By making this booking you agree not to take any legal proceedings against Green Lotus or its employees as a result of any first aid treatment, medical advice or medicines given or administered during the tour.

5. INSURANCE
Personal travel insurance is not included in the tour price. It is a condition of booking a tour with Green Lotus Trekking, and your responsibility to ensure for type of tours you are undertaking; the policy must include satisfactory cover for repatriation, high altitudes, trekking and climbing, and helicopter rescue. Please forward your insurance details (e.g. policy number, 24-hour emergency telephone number, name of insurance company) to Green Lotus Trekking when available.

6. GUIDE DECISIONS
In signing the booking form you agree to abide by the decisions of the guide, who represents Green Lotus. The decision of the guide as to the conduct, itinerary, and objectives of the tour is final. If, in the opinion of the guide your behavior or physical condition is a threat to the safety, welfare and well-being of the group as a whole (which are the primary considerations), or if the guide considers your general well-being will be put at risk by continuing with the tour, you may be asked to leave the tour without the right to any refund.

7. ITINERARY ALTERATIONS
The itineraries given for each tour must be taken as an indication of what is expected to be achieved, not as a contractual obligation on the part of Green Lotus. It is a necessary condition that you accept this flexibility and that you also accept that Green Lotus cannot be held responsible for delays or alterations in the program, or for expenses incurred owing to international or internal flight cancellations, war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, strikes, local regulations, sickness, quarantine, terrorist activity, political closures and disputes, natural disasters, weather conditions, fire, technical transport problems or other circumstances beyond Green Lotus’ control. You will be responsible for expenses incurred, such as extra hotel accommodation or flights, and these must be paid for direct at the time. Similarly, a client leaving a tour en-route will not be entitled to any refund unless agreed by Green Lotus’ company director.

8. REFUNDS
Green Lotus cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or accident to any luggage and property; these are at all times carried at the owners’ risk, also when carried by airlines, vehicles, porters or pack animals.

No refund or compensation will be made or given for any unused hotel accommodation, air tickets or any other unused service or feature of the trip for whatsoever reasons (e.g. early finished of trek, flight cancellation, rescue etc).

9. LOCAL OR INTERNATIONAL LAWS AND AGREEMENTS
The use of aircraft, cars or any other service provided during the tour must be subject to the applicable local or international law agreements and to the terms and conditions of their owners or operators, which may exclude or limit liability. Any air travel that is part of any trip is subject to the conditions as stipulated by the airline concerned to which attention will be drawn on the airline ticket. Such flights are subject to international law, which often limits the airlines liability to passengers in respect of bodily injury or death, delay and loss or damage to baggage. All clients are expected to obey the laws and regulations of the countries visited, failure to do so will relieve Green Lotus of all obligations that they may have under these booking conditions.

10. INTERNATIONAL AIRFARE, MEDICATIONS, VACINATIONS, PASSPORT & VISA
International Airfare, medical examinations, vaccinations, obtaining passports, visas and other preliminary arrangements are entirely your responsibility and we accept no responsibility in the event that these are not completed in time for departure.
