Overview

The Royal Chitwan National Park is the third most visited area in Nepal after trekking and the Kathmandu valley. The beautiful natural reserve, with an area of 932 sq km, is located 175 km south-west of Kathmandu, near the Indian border in the Terai, or jungle area of Nepal . The park was formed in 1973 as an animal sanctuary for the rapidly declining species of rhino and tiger, and today offers one of the finest wildlife experiences in Asia with Jungle Safari in Nepal. The park now contains an estimated 400 Indian one-horned rhinoceros and 80 Royal Bengal tigers, plus another 50 species of mammals and 400 different types of birds. We offer a 2 night/3 day all-inclusive package trip to Chitwan using a luxurious jungle lodge within the national park or outside park resorts as per below:
