Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in a private tourist vehicle.
Once you're settled at the hotel, we will schedule a trip briefing at the hotel lobby or restaurant.
After our driver picks you up from your hotel in Kathmandu, you'll board a flight to Pokhara from the domestic airport. Upon arrival in Pokhara, another driver will meet your trekking group and transfer you to Siwai, a journey of about two to three hours. Once in Siwai, you’ll enjoy lunch before starting your Annapurna Short Trek to Chomrong, climbing stone stairways and soaking in the beautiful farmland scenery.
After breakfast in Chomrong, you’ll begin your Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek. The trail descends via stone steps to Chomrong Khola, where you'll cross a suspension bridge before climbing up to Sinuwa. A short trek through the forest and a gentle descent will bring you to Khuldighar, followed by a steep downhill walk through a damp bamboo grove to reach Dovan at the base of the gorge.
Because of a nearby temple, loud noises are prohibited along the jungle trail between Dovan and Himalaya, creating a peaceful and quiet walk. The Short ABC Trek route passes through bamboo forests, then shifts into rhododendron woods, with several waterfalls along the way. After reaching Himalaya, you'll continue toward Hinku Cave, where the landscape opens up to clearings and glacial rivers. The trail briefly descends to the river before climbing again to Deurali, offering stunning valley views. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Deurali.
After a challenging ascent from Deurali, you will reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) on the Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek. From here, stunning views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, and other peaks surround you. The trail then continues along a broader, less vegetated path toward Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), where caution is needed due to avalanche risk. After enjoying the breathtaking views, you’ll begin your return on the Annapurna Short Trekking Route to Sinuwa. Today marks the end of your Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek. After a hearty breakfast in Sinuwa, you'll trek toward Chomrong, passing Tilche and crossing a suspension bridge. A 45-minute descent will bring you to Jhinu Danda, known for its natural hot springs, where you'll stop for lunch. Afterward, you'll continue to Siwai to meet your private vehicle for the drive back to Pokhara, which takes about three hours. Upon arrival, you can enjoy the evening exploring, shopping, or taking a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake.
This morning, you'll board a tourist bus in Pokhara for your journey back to Kathmandu. The 205-kilometer drive follows the scenic Marsyangdi and Trishuli Rivers, passing through charming towns like Damauli, Dumre, and Mugling. Along the way, you'll enjoy stunning views of hills, rivers, and snow-capped mountains.
