The trek includes scenic walks from Lukla to Namche Bazaar, a visit to the Sherpa village of Khumjung, and time at the renowned Everest View Hotel, which offers spectacular vistas of Everest and many other peaks. Your 9-day Everest View Trek begins with a scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From there, you’ll hike to Phakding, passing charming villages such as Chheplung and Nurning. The route follows the Bhote Koshi River, passing through Bengkar, Monjo, and Jorsalle before reaching Namche Bazaar, where you’ll spend a day acclimatizing.

During the acclimatization day, you’ll hike to the Everest View Hotel for unforgettable views of Everest and Ama Dablam. You can also explore the traditional Sherpa villages of Khunde and Khumjung, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. After acclimatization, your journey continues to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery.

Weather in high-altitude areas like the Everest region can change quickly, so choosing the right season is crucial:

  • Autumn (September–November): Offers the best visibility and comfortable weather. However, this is the busiest season, so trails may be crowded.
  • Other Windows: Late February, early June, and December are also feasible with fewer crowds, though weather may affect flights.
