There are many minor, easy rapids in this otherwise mild river. The rapids’ strength rises during the monsoon season, drawing a completely new group of rafters.
For those who wish to take in some of Nepal’s breathtaking river scenery without the intensity of difficult or demanding rapids, rafting the Seti River is the perfect excursion. The Seti is Nepal’s greatest place to learn how to kayak and is a great river for family vacations.

Damauli, the put-in point for rafting on Seti River is 5 hours from Kathmandu by tourist bus. WhiteWater Nepal arranges transportation for you. The 35 km of river action take 2 days. The take-out point of Seti river trip is at Gaighat and it is approximately 4 – 5 hours drive from both Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Itinerary

Drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Damauli, which are 150km from Kathmandu and 50 km from Pokhara. Our rafting guide will brief you regarding river and how to raft on white water. After short rafting trip our kitchen crew prepare Lunch after enjoy with lunch continue two hour rafting and camp at Corridor of jungle near the riverbank. Over night at tent camp.

Rafting from Corridor of jungle nears the riverbanks to Gaighat; rafting till 3 PM (approx.) and after finished the fart drive back to onward destination Chitwan national Park, Kathmandu or pokhara.
