Buddha Air flight -103 crashed in Lalitpur, Nepal which killed 19 people on board. The plane was returning from Everest mountain flight. The cause of the accident is now known but our source tell us that plane was put on hold for approach to give way for other aircraft that was in process of landing. While on hold the plan made some you turn to by the time and in that time it crashed. Apparently the plane was already in valley and in visual contact with Kathmandu airport tower. As for other development story. The there is some bomb scare in the SpiceJet Kathmandu bound flight and Nepal Army are all over the airport to take control of thesituation. More update to follow. UPDATES Operations at the Kathmandu airport were halted for about an hour after the search operations began. However, flights have now started taking-off from and landing at the airport. So Kathmandu airport is in normal operation now. |
