Everest High Pass Circuit Trek

Also known as Everest Cho La and Renjo pass trek is one of the most adventurous treks in the Everest region. A unique trek that goes through Lukla, Namche bazaar and all the way to Everest Base Camp and Kalla Pattar (5546 meters), Chola Pass (5330 meters) , Gokyo, Renjo Pass (5345 meters), Thame, Namche, and to Lukla.  The trek offers truly spectacular panoramic views of Mount Everest, Cho Oyo, Makalu and innumerable peaks and glaciers for which this region is world renowned. And take you to the home of the legendary Sherpa villages and their monasteries, culture, sacred peaks and valley.

 



Renjo pass

We take an ancient route that will take us through tiny villages, across high mountain passes, and through remote valleys, villages, famous Sherpa monasteries and to Everest Base Camp. Next we cross the Cho-La pass and reach to Gokyo Valley.  Climb to Gokyo Peak (5483 meters) offer a fantastic panoramic view of Cho Oyo, Everest and Makalu. We do our last high pass Renjo cross which should not be difficult as by this time we should be fairly fit from all the hiking and other climb we made. Renjo pass offer yet  other unique panoramic views of high Himalayas and we arrive at settlement of Thame and to Namche from where we retrace our way back to Lukla.

5 Namche Bazaar - acclimatization day

8 Dingboche acclimatization - side trip to Chukung Ri 4360m
9 Trek to Lobuche (option Kongma La pass) 4930m
10 Trek to Everest Base Camp and o/n Gorekshep 5160m
11 Climb to Kalla Pattar 5546m and descent to Dzongla 4830m
12 Trek to Gokyo (crossing Chola Pass 5420m) 4750m
